Alabaster Beauty Services was started by Heather Morse., a professional hair stylist specializing in both cutting and coloring. After 8 years full-time in the salon and another year in salon management, choosing to work independently embraces a more personal dynamic and creates more opportunity to be involved in the community. The mission statement born of this vision is to bring the highest standards of quality, professionalism, and detail to every client's door. In addition, Alabaster Beauty Services also seeks to support local charities and transitional programs by offering free beauty services on a regular basis to those in need. 

The name Alabaster Beauty Services was gleaned from the biblical story of Mary who broke her alabaster box of expensive ointment/perfume on Jesus' feet as an act of sacrifice. This name was chosen as a tribute to all of those who dedicate their time and love sacrificially to those in need, a true expression of beauty.
